This time of year there are many external demands about joy. It can leave the grieving heart to feel isolated and aching further. Please join us as we share stories of hope and loss while holding space for heavy hearts. Attendees will create advent wreaths that can be used to find small moments of hope, peace, joy, and love each week. During this workshop guests will have the opportunity to share, listen, belong and be seen while finding hope during this holiday season.

Revolution Community Yoga will be offering a FREE Yoga class outdoors Sundays @ 9:30 – 10am, just before the opening bell of the market. The market will run Sundays (see schedule below) from June 18th – October 15th, 2023. The Acton-Boxborough Farmers Market is located at Elm St. Playground, Acton. Parking is allowed on Elm St, but only on the side of the street adjacent to the playground. Parking is also available at Douglas Elementary School. The classes will take place in the grassy area near the tennis court.
Class is always weather-permitting. Classes will not run if it is below 55 degrees or above 90 degrees. We will post class cancellations on the RCY FaceBook Page by 7am on the Sunday mornings that classes are scheduled.

Grand opening event and inaugural annual cornhole tournament fundraiser, to be held in West Acton. (The cornhole tournament is the event rescheduled from the rained-out May date.)
Festivities will include:
✂️ 11 am: Ribbon-cutting ceremony to take place in front of Danny’s Place new location at 543 Mass Avenue, open to the public.
🙈 11:15 am - 12:30 pm: Doors open to the new space at 543 Mass Ave, offering the opportunity to walk through the rooms and speak with our staff to learn more about our unique programming. No entrance fee; an Advanced RSVP to anne@dannys-place.org is appreciated.
🛝 12 pm: The community celebration will kick off at the newly renovated Gardner Field, with DJ music sets and kids' outdoor activities. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from sponsors True West and West Side Creamery. No entrance fee but free general admission registration is requested so we can inform our food vendors.
👏 12:30 pm: "Bags fly" for a fun-for-all cornhole tournament, run by Wicked Cornhole. No experience is required! (Player check-in from 12-12:30 PM) Advanced registration is requested on our online form.

Since 2007, friends of Danny's Place have gathered for a day filled with fun on the golf course to support the youth of Acton and Boxborough. Year after year, this event continues to be successful and treasured by all who attend.

Join DPYS for their first annual Danny's Place Cornhole Tournament fundraiser for all ages! Music, activities, games, and food and drink - bring the whole family.

Music from the Wicked Cornhole DJ during the tournament (2-5pm)
A live music performance after the tournament by local group Red Van Jazz Band & Co. (5-7pm)
A kids' area, with games and activities throughout the day and evening
Food and drink from local businesses available for purchase throughout the event
Cornhole tickets include access to all activities, music, and food and drink stations. General Admission tickets are available to watch the tournament and enjoy the other activities.

See where all the magic happens at the brand new Bisousweet bakery in Leominster! Karen will demonstrate her pastry chef skills while sharing some of her favorite baking stories and tips. The film documents Moultrie’s choreography and preparation for his piece from conception through rehearsals, culminating in the opening night at BoCo Theater.

Margaret Moody Puppets
Margaret Moody loves the way two hands and a few puppets can present a whole story. She studied with master puppeteer Li Tien-lu of Taiwan for three years, and continues to use the intricate puppets and choregraphy of Bu Dai Xi (‘cloth bag drama’) in performance. Margaret performs mainly for children and enjoys creating shows with fairies and other magical creatures. Just like yoga, a good book is always better when shared with a group. Book Club Meets the Mat combines the fun and connection of a book club community with the healing nature of a yoga class. Amy invites you to “pull up a bolster” to discuss our quarterly book of choice and stay for a rejuvenating yoga practice that will settle your mind and nourish your body. This workshop is a wonderful opportunity to deepen your yoga practice and perhaps meet a new friend!
To mark the 200th birthday of Henry David Thoreau, CELEBRATE THOREAU is presented by the Friends of the Acton Libraries. This event aims to highlight Thoreau's writings and foster an appreciation for outdoor living. There will be a mixture of academic and social activities for heritage fans, and families.
This is a free entry event being held at the Gallery at Villageworks. Thanks also to True West for their support. The Friends of the Acton Libraries are a non-profit, 501c3 organization dedicated to the support of Acton's 9 (!) libraries.

As part of the Villageworks Holiday Food Drive, Revolution Community Yoga is running a special class to benefit the Acton Food Pantry. Acton Community Supper and Food Pantry, Inc. is a non-profit organization established in 1984 to help alleviate food-insecurity in Acton and its contiguous towns – Boxborough, Concord, Carlisle, Littleton, Maynard, Stow and Westford.
There is no charge for this class, but cash or food donations for the Acton Food Pantry would be most welcomed! The items most needed at this time are:
Spaghetti sauce • cereal (hot and cold) • peanut butter & jelly • soup • macaroni & cheese • boxed rice • canned meats & fish • 100% juice boxes • canned tomato products • baking mixes (cake, brownies, breads) • toilet paper & tissues
If you cannot attend the class but would like to make a donation, you can drop off your non-perishable food items in the donation box in the Wellness at Villageworks waiting area.

Come to The Gallery for "Blues & Brews", an annual auction and fundraiser for the Infant Toddler Center of Acton. All event proceeds go directly to supporting ITC's program.
