Book Club Meets the Mat combines the fun and connection of a book club community with the gifts of an inspiring yoga class. Amy invites you to “pull up a bolster” and join her for a heart-opening gathering that blends meaningful conversation with mindful movement and plenty of time for rest and reflection. We’ll begin by diving into an inspiring book discussion and follow it up with a nourishing yoga practice designed to embody and integrate the ideas from our conversation. No need to be an expert reader or yoga practitioner ~ just come as you are, ready to connect, move, and be inspired.

This dinner is the first of a series in a project being pursued by our Chef Jon Gilman, the Feast Revival Project. The goal of this project is to increase community engagement and discourse by promoting the revival of feasts: gatherings centered around seasonal food meant to create a communal setting that societies have depended on for centuries to facilitate social discourse. It will involve a delicious spread of food served family style in your group, along with a curated fun conversation from our guest speaker.
