Spend your Summer Saturday afternoons learning the art of the cocktail at Silver Girl with Chef/Co-Owner Dawn Aguiar! In this final installment, bring your knowledge together to learn to create your own cocktails! Shaken? Stirred? Herbaceous? Tropical? Learn to think like a bartender and draw on classic cocktail specs to create your own signature cocktails at home.
Classes are limited to 12 at the bar, and will be as hands-on as possible. You'll get to taste two cocktails along with a snack from the Silver Girl kitchen, and take away recipe cards to refer to when you get home. Tickets are required for this 21+ event and are available at silvergirl.us

Join RCY to take a 30-minute mindful walk followed by a 30-minute Mindful Flow yoga practice. We’ll start the walk with a chance to engage socially and move our bodies until we arrive at the head of a nature trail. From there we’ll enjoy a 10-minute “forest bathing” session and sensory walk which will be more of a solitary and meditative experience. The group will then walk back to the studio and enjoy a grounding practice of flow, stretch and balance. Community meditation in savasana, resting in mindful awareness, concludes the hour.

Gerry is an award winning 7-String jazz guitarist who has toured the USA and Canada, been the recipient of national awards and appeared on over fifty recordings.
Their collaboration, reminiscent of the pioneering work in this genre by jazz vocal icon Ella Fitzgerald and jazz guitar legend Joe Pass, reflects their combined years of experience learning their craft as well as a mutual respect for each other’s artistry.

Hatha Yoga will now run weekly on Mondays at 10:30am. Hatha Yoga includes yoga poses, breathing practices and meditation/ mindfulness techniques. The class has a strong focus on safe and proper alignment, and breath and body awareness. We work toward strength, steadiness, flexibility, balance, concentration and calming of the mind. The slower pace of the class with longer holds in poses (compared to flow or Vinyasa classes) allows for attention to detail. Modifications are offered as needed, and the use of props is welcomed.
