In this session you will learn the techniques to create a tiny world of plants, rocks, and moss, encapsulated in a glass terrarium. Each participant will get to make one terrarium to take home and will be able to use the skills they learn in the class to make more terrariums in the future. Upon ordering, send a photo of your pet (straight on like a school photo, see example above) by 7/12/23 to Marcie at events@paintedbytheshore.com. Following that, your image will be broken down into a line drawing & the outline scored onto a 10" x 10" wooden panel that will be waiting for you at the event.
Bring your original photo to the class (can be on your phone), & your instructor will work with you to make suggestions on custom color blends, so you'll be able to mirror your pet's fur & features. Then when you get home your 0.8" thick panel can be propped with support or hung on the wall to display.
