Grand opening event and inaugural annual cornhole tournament fundraiser, to be held in West Acton. (The cornhole tournament is the event rescheduled from the rained-out May date.)

Festivities will include:

✂️ 11 am: Ribbon-cutting ceremony to take place in front of Danny’s Place new location at 543 Mass Avenue, open to the public.

🙈 11:15 am - 12:30 pm: Doors open to the new space at 543 Mass Ave, offering the opportunity to walk through the rooms and speak with our staff to learn more about our unique programming. No entrance fee; an Advanced RSVP to anne@dannys-place.org is appreciated.

🛝 12 pm: The community celebration will kick off at the newly renovated Gardner Field, with DJ music sets and kids' outdoor activities. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from sponsors True West and West Side Creamery. No entrance fee but free general admission registration is requested so we can inform our food vendors.

👏 12:30 pm: "Bags fly" for a fun-for-all cornhole tournament, run by Wicked Cornhole. No experience is required! (Player check-in from 12-12:30 PM) Advanced registration is requested on our online form.

Join us for the 2019 West Acton Village Merchants Association (WAVMA) Holiday Stroll. We'll kick off at 12:30 pm, and we'll finish with the tree lighting by Middlesex Savings Bank at 4:30 pm. There are going to be a lot of great things happening at our local businesses. Stay tuned for more details soon!

Join True West Brewery at deCordova's annual campus-wide celebration Park Fest on Saturday, June 23! The event kicks off with a 5K trail run in the morning, followed by a day-long outdoor festival for all ages. Enjoy live music and dance performances, have fun with art-making activities inspired by deCordova's spring exhibitions (including a giant parachute painting project!), observe ceramic studio demonstrations, shop at a local arts and crafts market, play mini golf, treat yourself to Ben & Jerry's, and grab a bite to eat or a beer from deCordova Café, Compliments Food Truck, and True West Brewery! The West Acton Village Merchants Association's Oktoberfest is back in West Acton Village!

While raising funds and awareness for the Acton Food Pantry, OKTOBERFEST is a West Acton tradition that happens in the heart of our community. This year there will be over 40 businesses, non-profits, artists, and more set up in Gardner Field, along with sidewalk sales and promotions happening throughout the village. A 5K hosted by Marx Running will start at 9am. There will be live music from local bands, bounce house and games for kids, prize wheel, a beer garden across the street at TrueWest, and more. Rain date is Sunday, October 15th, same times.

Come to Gardner Field Playground and enjoy & explore all that your growing community has to offer!

For new, expecting, and future parents and caretakers- Don't miss this fun and educational fair hosted by NAMMA Families! Learn about providers who can support your family during the prenatal and postnatal periods, and through all of parenthood (lactation consultants, sleep consultants, midwives, doulas, chiropractors, etc!), attend workshops for parents and activities for kids! Raffles, food and drinks, fun for all ages (with a side of education!)
