Massmouth Storytelling: "That Hurts"

  • The Gallery at Villageworks 525 Massachusetts Avenue Acton, MA (map)

Join us for an evening of six-minute, first-person stories. The theme for the night is "That Hurts".  Four seasoned storytellers are pre-picked by Massmouth and the remaining four “new” storytellers are invited from the local community by Fugitive Productions. If you are interested in telling a story, go to our Contact page to let us know. In our future Massmouth evenings, several storytellers will be picked randomly from volunteers in the audience.

Massmouth is a nonprofit organization that brings the timeless art of storytelling to Massachusetts. Since its founding in 2008, Massmouth has changed the way Greater Boston and surrounding communities tell and listen to stories. Real estate agents, lawyers, teachers, scientists, homeschooling moms, journalists, grad students, artists, and professional storytellers — thousands of people, young and old — have bared their souls on topics ranging from “lost loves” to “unexpected adventures.”

Massmouth has collaborated with a number of Greater Boston’s most esteemed venues and organizations including Club Passim, First Night Boston, Trident Booksellers, Emerson University, and WGBH.

Doors open at 6pm.
