This exhibition includes the photographic work of 6th grade students at the Merriam elementary school. Each class decided upon a theme to work within, such as nature, mood or humor. Students used school Ipads and the app, Snapseed, to capture and edit images in a way that allowed for exploration and varying levels of edits. Students experimented with tone, double-exposure, contrast, color splash effects, and text, along with many types of filters and subjects. Students were encouraged to follow a personal vision and have written artist statements for each photo.
